Wrinkly Bits
A Blog by Gail Cushman
Life is good! The things that make books are once again pouring out of my brain. I went for a while with a void brain, you know, nothing really going on that was exciting. I wrote my twice-weekly blogs and news articles but couldn’t get into a book. But, BINGO! The brain is working again. I send a new book to my editors, Anna and Anita, for a second edit…hopefully this summer…maybe the end of July, if all goes well. It’s called Marrying Montana a compilation of my blogs and short stories. Humor and nostalgia, good for summer reading on Kindle, etc., and summer listening if you use Audible.
And another one, just started, there’s a new sheriff in town…Ingrid Johnson. She has a horse named Max and is chasing a water thief and a murderer. If you live in the western part of the United States, you know about water and the absence of water and what happens if you violate water law.
Ingrid lives in Montana, where ditches are a part of life. For this story Ingrid is dealing with water rights and ditches. It’s got a trifecta of rich murder clues: a shovel with a note next to a body, a retired brothel madam with deep Montana roots, and a California newcomer who thinks he knows it all. What can possibly go wrong?
Stay tuned… No title yet…working on it! Maybe Ditches and B*****s. What do you think?
I’m excited to be writing again, and looking forward to sharing this (undoubtedly) Best Seller with you! Wish me luck…I’ll keep you posted, but right now it’s time for a Jamison Ditch.
All of my books are on Amazon and now Audible! Or you can order them through me! [www.gailcushman,com](http://www.gailcushman,com).
Hey! Have a grand summer and stay safe!
