Wrinkly Bits

Eighty years old, whoever would have thunk it? (A grammatically incorrect phrase, but who cares at our age.) These ladies should be proud. They look amazing, and from their resumes, they have lived well and prospered. Could it be clean living? Not sure about that! Maybe…maybe not. I’m not going there.
I think the goal of all of us in the class of ‘64 was to live well and prosper. These ladies have done the gamut: love and marriage, some divorces, school and training, travel, kids, grandkids and even great grandkids. In-laws, out-laws (It happens.) Dreams and nightmares, successes and failures, but they are 80 and loving it!
They have seen the world, but always return to their roots, a little village in Idaho called Emmett, where they cheered for the Emmett Huskies, circa 1960—1964, graduated and started their lives.
This gathering was rather impromptu, not a reunion, just a bunch of long-time friends and classmates, laughing and enjoying each other. From left to right: Kathy, Bernice, Judy, Cyndy, Susan, Ileene, Linda, Connie and Melinda. Kathy flew in from the east coast, Bernice from Colorado, Judy and Melinda live in Emmett, Cyndy, Linda, and Connie live in Boise, Susan roughs it in High Valley, Ileene lives in Washington,
The class of 64 graduated with about 130 people. As far as I know, over half have passed away. But these eight and a bunch more are still alive and kicking. Keep going! Thanks for the memories! Happy 80th! (if you can upgrade on any of the others, please email me gailcushman2000@yahoo.com
