I’ve kinda gotten into the rhythm of Montana State football. Cowboy and I have attended several football games (thank you, Riley) and like it so much I am thinking of trying out for cheerleader. I found a website with the “Ultimate Cheerleading Moves,” and what else could I possibly need? I can already voice the cheers) “First Down, Bobcats” or my favorite, “Touchdown, Bobcats,” and now that my foot is fixed, I am working on handsprings and thigh jumps. I already can touch my toes from a sitting position. My cheerleader granddaughter will be so proud.
Anyway, a really cute cheerleading shirt came across my emails, the same day that the Montana-Montana State game was played and MSU won, meaning they are going to the final event. The cute shirt was about $30, but it was made in Montana, in stock, and would arrive within 24 hours. Just what I needed, so I ordered one. That was December 18. I planned to wear it for Christmas dinner, as I showed off my prowess as a cheerleader. It didn’t arrive, but I got an email. It was ready to be shipped from Szeged, 6723, Hungary. What? Hungary? Two more days, and I got another email. Good news, it was in Pécs, 7632, Hungary. This morning (December 30), I received more good news: The shipment is being inspected at the customs of Hungary, I have no idea where the Hungarian customs office is. Cute shirt still has to cross the Atlantic and make its way to Montana. By boat? By air? Or swimming with the dolphins? Wanna bet if it arrives before the January 5 game?
The big game is January 5 at 5:30 Mountain Standard Time. They are playing Illinois State Redbirds in Nashville and it’s bound to be a heck of game. We aren’t going, but I’m gonna wear my new shirt and watch it on ESPN. If my cute shirt is here by then. Gooo Bobcats!
This is a true story, except for the handsprings and thigh jumps.
